We spent a wonderful Thanksgiving week in our Montana house. Ron and Joyce joined us from California (whew…that’s a long drive!). We can make it from Castle Rock to Livingston in 10.5~11.0 hours; Sacramento to Livingston is much longer.
The main floor of River’s Edge (aka the Montana cabin) is being remodeled by Doug Miller Construction. Wow what a difference moving some doors, installing larger windows, texturing and painting the walls, moving walls and customizing the trim work will make. And that’s only part of it, as a second bathroom bedroom are also being added to the main floor. The views out of the main floor are spectacular. Dee Dee refers to the new looks as “bringing the outside in” Here are some pics from the house. If you are looking for a craftsman in the Gallatin Gateway/Bozeman/Livingston area, I would highly recommend Doug Miller.
It began to snow on Tuesday and dumped over a foot at the cabin. Yellowstone and the Yellowstone River were picture perfect…photo ops were everywhere. Here is a sample of our pics from the trip.
The trip ended with a full moon setting on Saturday 11/24 in the morning
